Probably the best pasta I have ever had, though this is only my tastes, because I love cheese and spice. I hope everyone has a chance try this one out!
Pronto Penne Pasta
Ingredients
2.25 uncooked penne pasta 1 pound pasta 1 onion diced
1 green pepper chopped 1 can diced tomatoes 1 14oz can of broth
2 garlic cloves minced 2 teaspoons basil ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ cup flour ½ cup milk ½ cup shredded cheese ¼ cup parmesan cheese
Directions
1. Cook pasta and drain pasta
2. Crumble sausage into a large skillet with onion and green pepper, cook and until meat is no longer pink, drain.
3. Stir in tomatoes, broth, garlic, basil and cayenne
4. In a small bowl combine flour and milk until smooth, then stir this into sausage mixture, bring to a boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened
5. Remove from heat, stir in cheddar cheese until melted
6. Toss pasta into mixture, add parmesan cheese
